So I’ve tried several times, and there’s no way I’m going to be able to hold my breath until the ENnie Awards are announced. I have been trucking ahead on Modos 2 Deluxe Edition, and am now knee-deep in the Modules chapter. I’m also up to my neck in sidebars that I need to add, but those are sort of a post-editing task, for some reason.
The adventure module is going to get a dramatic re-write, but before that, I’m adding Combat Crunch – a rules module for adding epic-fight scenes to Modos 2. Six secondary attributes, map and miniature support, an action system mod, and . . . hit points!? No, no, no. The module still uses damage pools, the simpler, faster version of hit points. The solution was inspired by my Dragonborn Light module, which you should definitely check out over at ENworld if you get a chance:

I’m going back to work, hoping that Santa Claus (level 8) has an August present for me :)
